The nozzle works as advertised. The adjustments give you good control over the amount of material delivered on target, the shape of the spray stream and the pressure used. Cleaning with mineral spirits restores the sprayer and the cup back to working order. Very good value for the money.
If you are like me, stop looking. Trying to decide whether to give this gun a try or spending $300 or $400 on something you hope will be better. I am a weekend hobbyist, a rookie who wanted to attempt a Candy Apple paint job on my restomod. I have a $50 gun but wanted something more capable. Dont spend the extra hundreds of dollars. This gun will do the job! Great pattern, feels good in your hand, nice size can, steel, easy to clean.
It will not disappoint.
First of all, this gun looks even better in person than it does in the pictures.
It looks much more expensive than it is. It sprays great with a lot of control for spray pattern and fluid control. Speaking of which, this gun can absolutely dump material on and lays it down nice and flat. I was using it to spray automotive primer with the 1.8 tip and I actually had to adjust the gun to spray less material. Haven't used the 1.4 tip but will update my review once I use it to spray clear coat. One noticable difference between this and higher end spray guns is the weight. I will say it is fairly heavy and doesn't feel quite as good in the hand as say a tekna or iwata but that's a small price to pay for this kind of quality. That being said, don't hesitate to buy this thing, it's awesome!
